Waikīkī Film Awards – Honoring Ciara Lacy & Paula Fuga

Join us for the inaugural Waikīkī Film Awards at the OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel, in partnership with Hawaiian Aroma Café, Hawai‘i Film Alliance, and Richmond Family Films. This free public event celebrates Native Hawaiian storytelling through film, honoring local filmmakers Ciara Lacy (The Queen’s Flowers) and Paula Fuga (Kūkini) for their extraordinary contributions to Hawaiian cinema.

The evening will feature a red-carpet welcome, Hawaiian dance performance, screenings of the award-winning films, an on-stage awards presentation, a Q&A with filmmaker Fairai Richmond, and a special musical performance by Paula Fuga.
