How to Register on the Hawaiʻi State Legislature Website

(One-time setup — takes about 3 minutes)

To submit testimony during the legislative session, you’ll need a free account on the Hawaiʻi State Legislature website.

👉 Please do this now so you’re ready when bills open for testimony.

Why You’re Doing This

Creating an account ahead of time means:

  • No rushing when testimony opens
  • No forgotten passwords under deadline
  • You’ll be able to submit testimony in seconds when it matters

This is a one-time setup.

Step-by-Step: Create Your Account

Step 1: Go to the Registration Page

Visit the official website of the Hawaiʻi State Legislature

Step 2: Fill Out the Registration Form

You’ll be asked for basic information:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address (use one you check often)
  • Create a Username
  • Create a Password

👉 You do not need to use your full legal name if you don’t want to.

👉 Choose a username and password you’ll remember.

Step 3: Submit the Form

Click Register.

You may receive a confirmation email.

If so, click the link in that email to activate your account.

Step 4: You’re Done

That’s it.

You now have a username and password and are ready to submit testimony when bills open.

If you think you might already have an account:

  • Try logging in
  • If it doesn’t work, click “Forgot Username or Password”
  • Follow the reset steps

No need to create a second account.
